BAMBOO ...who would have thought that anyone would make CLOTHING out of BAMBOO? Not I.

I have to tell you that after many years of feeling fabrics, washing clothes, drying clothes, wearing clothes and storing clothes, NOTHING beats BAMBOO. Here is what you should know:

Bamboo is an eco-friendly, sustainable crop that grows wild without the aid of fertilizers or pesticides.And is CPSIA approved.

According to the World Wildlife Fund (WWF), conventional cotton consumes more water than any other agricultural commodity.

Nitrogen-heavy fertilizer runoff from cotton fields feeds oceanic "dead zones" that deprive water of oxygen and kill fish. Seven of the top 15 pesticides used on U.S. cotton crops are deemed by the EPA to be potential or known human carcinogens.

Industrial production of synthetic fibers releases lung-damaging pollutants such as nitrogen and sulfur oxides, particulates, carbon monoxide and heavy metals into the air. Manufacturing of most fabrics also releases climate-warming carbon dioxide into the air.

Not so with bamboo.

Bamboo fabric is naturally antibacterial, anti fungal and anti static. Bamboo absorbs water 3-4 times better than cotton, keeping skin comfortable, rather than sticky, in summer weather. And Bamboo stays 2-3 degrees cooler in hot weather and warmer in cold.

Here is my BLOG...I have been an avid lover of PERSONALIZING gifts!!!! I think this feature incompasses the idea of "The Perfect Gift!".

For as long as I can remember, everytime I have given a personalized gift it as been appreciated, well loved, and treasured. Whether it is a grown-up or a child, these little gifts have lived long passed the life span of the normal gift.

PANANO a.k.a PIANO

I was thinking that I should tell my story, in brief and how I got the name PANANO.

I am a Mom of one perfect daughter, Evin. If you look at the Header on the PANANO site, you will see a little girl in front of a piano. That is my gorgeous daughter, though she is 30 now, she still is the light of my life.

When she was a little girl she would ask to play the PANANO, instead of the piano, and the name just stuck.

I have always wanted to accomplish something of my own besides having my wonderful daughter.

As the years went on it seemed as though the timing was never right or the place was never right or the marriage was never right.

I have always loved the Baby world. I wanted to be a Mom, and can't wait to be a Grandma. So the thought came to me, hummm, I could have it all by building a Baby/Children/Maternity site of my own. VOILA!!!! With the love and encouragement of my family and friends, I have been able to realize a dream come true.

I have found the most incredible company for children's Earth-Friendly Goods!! An Organic Product Line that fills their products with CORN FIBER not any sort of poly fill. They are made with organic cotton and come in sustainable packaging. I first saw this company at the ABC Show in Vegas and I was totally taken back. I had never seen an organic line that used all the imaginative textures and colors of their counter-part the polly filled toys, but so much better.... AND it's all machine washable! They carry Rattles, Teethers, Developmental Toys and Soft Plush animals. Here is the clincher. They have a PINK line for baby girls. A portion of the proceeds from Dandelion's Pink Line will go to support Breast Cancer Research.

So what we have here is a fabulous company that is eco-friendly, smart, and has a huge heart! What else can I say except AMAZING!!!!
